Who We Are
We are a body of believers in Jesus Christ that gather together to worship and lift His name high. We are a church in a small community that is family focused and Bible based. We love seeing God move in our community and church.
How We Got Started
Living Hope Bible Church, formerly known as Port Rowan MB Church, has been serving the community of Port Rowan since 1927. Previously working with the United Mennonite Church of Port Rowan, they decided to branch off. The church launched in 1940 when we purchased our current building in Messiah’s Corners.
Over the years the Lord has been working in our church and growing our congregation. We have been blessed to have outgrown our original building and have been able to add additional spaces throughout the years.
After ninety-six years of serving the Lord in the Mennonite Brethren Conference, the church felt led of the Lord to leave that denomination and become affiliated with the Great Commission Collective. We left the conference December 31, 2023, and became part of the GCC in April 2024.
We have seen the Lord move not only in our church but in our community. Ministries that began years ago have continued to grow and reach the community for the sake of the gospel.
Our Mission
We exist to glorify God in all we think, say and do. We strive to boldly proclaim the truth of God's Word, believing it and living it out. Our mission is to passionately worship and exalt Jesus Christ, to pray fervently, dependently, and expectantly, to be unashamed witnesses of Jesus Christ, and to faithfully serve and passionately work for the sake of His kingdom here and globally.

We have an active church body that meets throughout the week to study God's Word through Bible studies, kids’ clubs, and prayer.
