Here at Living Hope Bible Church, we value our children and want to see them to experience the love of Christ through our ministries. We provide various opportunities throughout the week for our children to meet, and learn about Jesus and what it means to have a relationship with Him, and live it out daily. On Sunday mornings we have Sunday School from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM for all ages. During the Sunday morning service we provide Children’s church for ages 3-5. There is also Nursery care provided during Sunday School and the morning service for babies 0-3 years old.
Our Kids Club program is always a night full of enthusiasm. Girls and boys in Grade 1 and 2 come each week to have a fun night full of activities. Our evening includes singing, memorizing verses and learning the books of the Bible, some gym time, a Bible story, craft as well as a snack!
We encourage each child to memorize verses and do their daily quiet time devotional. In return they will receive “Bible Bucks” as a reward. When our Olympian store is open, they are free to spend their Bible bucks on fun toys and trinkets for their efforts.
Each Wednesday is a night of fun as we learn more about Jesus!
From mid-October until mid-April, 7- 8:00 PM of each year we run a Boys Club Program which consists of boys in grades 3 to 6. We spend Wednesday evenings learning about God, doing crafts in our woodworking shop as well as playing games in the gym like dodge ball and floor hockey. Occasionally, we have special event nights where we go and do something fun like ice skating or bowling.
The Girls’ Club program takes place every Wednesday evening (mid-October to mid-April) from 7-8:30 PM. It is for girls in grades 3-6. Each Wednesday evening consists of singing, learning Bible verses, making a craft or baking in the kitchen, active games in the gym and a Bible-focused lesson the girls can apply to their lives. It is our goal to introduce the girls to what it means to have a personal relationship with our Lord, Jesus and help them grow in their understanding of what it means to live for Him every day. The leaders strive to plan interactive lessons and activities that appeal to the girls’ interests and are geared to their age-category.
